WE have TWO HUGE projects we are REALLY striving to finish by October of 2009!

One: We are building of our FULLY ACCESSIBILE PLAYGROUND for ALL ABILITIES  (still to be named)at the new Henry County Recreation and Services Park in New Castle, KY.  This will be a state of the art playground….a one of a kind….not another like it in the state or region……we are really excited about this!!

Two: We are sponsoring the Friends For Michael Resource Room at Frazier Rehab on the 11th floor that will give all patients access to resources needed post injury, stroke, disease onset, etc as well as provide a place for family, friends and patients to relax, rest, watch television, use computers, etc…. It will also be a facility that can be used by outpatients to meet with vocational rehab, counselors, therapists, etc.   This will be an asset to the entire community and will serve thousands for years to come.

When you arrive at the Henry County High School there is some construction going on

so we are doing registration at the Henry County Middle School which is located directly behind the High School.  There will be signs and parking attendents to help you with directions.

The weather looks like it is going to be a beautiful morning!!

As posted by Kevin Hughes

The highly anticipated 2008 Beijing Paralympics officially started (September 6, 2008). Two websites will have live action: http://www.universalsports.com and www.ParalympicSport.TV

Some schedules posted are Beijing time. Easy math…they’re 12 hours ahead of us (Eastern Standard Time)

You can go to the below link for Beijing current time

http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/city.html?n=33

If you’re interested in watching the Paralympic Opening Ceremony…go to the below link… I recommend fast forwarding to either the 20:00 or 25:00 minute mark. The 3.5 hour opening had China’s signature firework show along with an entertaining theatrical performance. USA introduction was at the 1:24:00 mark and the breathtaking closing was around the 2:00:00 mark. If you enjoyed the Olympic opening ceremony, you’ll really be entertained in the final 1.5 hours.
